ImageMagick 7 is command-line image processing software for creating, editing, composing or converting bitmap images. The versions have Q8 in the name as an 8-bit per pixel component (e.g. 8-bit red, 8-bit green, etc.), whereas the Q16 in the filename is a 16-bit per pixel component. . Q16 instances allow you to read or write 16-bit images without loss of precision but require twice the resources of Q8 instances.
