NewFileTime is a small, standalone utility that allows you to change the Modified, Created, and Accessed dates of any file. You can modify the date for one or more files, even the entire folder structure at once. The date can be changed to a specific date and time, or you can choose to make each file “older” or “younger” by a certain number of days.
NewFileTime – Edit file time
You can add files simply via Drag and Drop or by importing from a folder. In any case, it opens in different ways to get you quickly to the job at hand. You can create files proportionally younger or older, or you can set specific dates/times . It can be used to perform time corrections, such as: to set incorrect time on digital cameras, computers, or for other important reasons.
If you want the date/time to be anything other than the current date and time, one way you can do this is by clicking the “#” drop-down menu. Two more sub-menus appear: time and date. They can be used in combination to specify a new date/time in one-hour increments from your current date/time. That method should bring about a maximum change of about a week.
Files and folders will be deleted from the program by pressing the “reset” button. Then you can drag other files/etc. into the program window. To set the date/time of an entire folder or folder tree, click the “Import” button and set the properties there in a way that suits your needs.
